I'm excited to announce the latest release of the (free!) SOF-ELK(R) analysis platform for logs, NetFlow, and more! This release is a primarily focused on a full migration to Elastic Common Schema-based fields, providing a consistent field naming scheme for over 1,100 fields parsed from a variety of inputs. This required a COMPLETE overhaul of all parsers, dashboards, scripts, and other files. The result is a common naming scheme that affords a smoother learning curve and opportunities for interoperability with other tools, visualizations, and more. Note that this is the FINAL version to use a CentOS base distribution, as the next release will be migrated fully to a Ubuntu LTS VM, with the Ansible build process updated to match that base install as well.
