On 6th December 2024, Safran Seats in the UK was honoured to receive Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, to officially open Safran Seats' facility expansion in Cwmbran, Wales. Her Royal Highness received a tour of the engineering and production facilities, meeting people from across our business, including long-serving colleagues and members of our graduate and apprenticeship schemes. The tour concluded with The Princess Royal opening the new office expansion, that will provide a modern setting for over 80 staff across the engineering and programme management teams. Safran Seats offers business class seats with the S-Lounge, a unique seat that provides enhanced comfort among the latest business class seats. Safran Seats also supplies economy class seats with the Z400, a next-generation seat that is lighter thanks to the materials used and the reduction in the number of components. ?? Safran Cabin provided Emirates Airlines the first batch of a total of 50 Galley shipsets which are designed to Emirates ACE Standard, and feature bespoke trim and finish details to match Emirates’ highest standard quality and design.
