The devastating aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton is being felt nationwide. Media reports show the powerful blows both made to communities across the Southeast. While I am pleased to know that our Safelite associates in impacted areas are safe, our hearts and thoughts are with those who lost loved ones. We also know that the rebuilding process is going to be a long one. It’s often in the worst of times that we see the best in people who step forward to offer assistance, including our associates. Team members are rallying during this unprecedented time to serve their communities where possible and help those who need their vehicles to provide immediate services. Our top priority is ensuring the health and well-being of our associates and customers while providing critical and essential safety services. We continue to assess the damage from both hurricanes and their impact on our associates and their communities, so we can further support them through our Safelite Foundation. At the grassroots level, our people are uniting to contribute to our Caring Heart Fund, which will directly help their teammates during this difficult time. I’m proud of our team.?
Whether it’s your dream vehicle or not quite your cup of tea, the Tesla Cybertruck certainly turns heads on the road. When this futuristic vehicle has glass needs, owners are in great hands with Safelite. The Cybertruck’s windshield is BIG and requires four people to safely complete the installation. And what a fine job our team did in navigating the many intricate steps it takes to replace and recalibrate this vehicle’s complex windshield! Hats off to our Recalibration Services, Technical Training and Quality teams for their impressive collaboration, and great job to the associates pictured here in Long Island, New York. As we see more of next-generation vehicles on the road, our teams across the country are ready to get the job done right.
