JAAS is delighted to present a web collection showcasing some of the topical research presented by the attendees at the European Winter Conference on Plasma Spectrochemistry (EWCPS) 2023. This meeting brought together researchers from around the world to Ljubljana to discuss the latest developments and applications in plasma spectrochemical techniques, and the collection is Guest Edited by Martin ?ala and Vid Simon ?elih (National Institute of Chemistry, Slovenia). Michael Serpe?is a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Alberta?, with expertise in stimuli-responsive polymers. Notably, his team’s research has delivered portable sensors and biosensors, from orthophosphate detection to COVID-19 testing devices using off-the-shelf glucose strips!
