It was an honor to welcome program managers from the U.S. Space Force and Air Force to Sustainability Hall last week to kick off this major initiative. RIT's NanoPower Research Laboratories, based in GIS, will help to advance the departments' use of solar power technology in space. Researchers from project partners Arizona State University, University of North Texas, University at Buffalo, and the University of Michigan also attended the event.
RIT researchers are working on using new materials to help propel spacecraft into the cosmos.

The natural covering of the green roof keeps the building significantly warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, and provides a beltway for butterfly migration.

??NEW RESOURCE ALERT: We recently partnered with Hyloh to learn how New York City residents might—or might not—go about repairing a piece of clothing or an accessory. Explore the interactive visualization map and see what barriers and opportunities to textile repair our research study revealed. ?? https://ow.ly/ff9P50TJIqN hyloh.
