The new Trump Administration is not even two months old, but each subsequent day, the White House announces a new trade or tariff policy that has potential significant ramifications for U.S. and global #recyclers. This webinar will provide members with an overview of the tariff programs that have already been announced, while also looking at what other trade policies the Administration is developing. Did you know that the Recycled Materials Association (ReMA) has various chapters across the country that sponsor access to JASON Learning for school districts and community organizations in their communities to provide equitable STEM learning opportunities, professional development, and resources? Today, we're highlighting the Boys & Girls Village (BGV) in Connecticut, whose access to JASON was sponsored by the ReMA New England Chapter. BVG dove head-first into this year's Youth Recycling Contest! Mr. LaVecchia, a teacher at BGV, shared, "It was incredible to see my students so excited and invested in this project. The idea of earning a prize sparked their engagement, but what truly stood out was how that initial excitement led to a deeper curiosity about the recycling industry and its impact on our planet. For many of my students, this was the first time they connected their learning to a real-world challenge, and it was inspiring to watch them take pride in their work and aspire to represent our school on a larger stage." ??
