Fostering innovation and talent in North America’s battery industry, the Battery Workforce Challenge is a premier three-year collegiate competition that challenges students to design, build, test and integrate advanced electric vehicle battery packs. For 2024, Ram provided each of the twelve invited universities and vocational partners with the newly introduced Ram ProMaster EV. THE NUMBERS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES Ram Professional + Cummins Inc. ? 300,000 miles. That unbelievable odometer number has come and gone on Kyle Myrick’s 2015 Cummins Turbo Diesel-powered Ram Tradesman pickup truck. These were not 300,000 easy, smooth pavement miles, either. Kyle is a mining engineer with 20 years+ experience, putting his truck to test in harsh environments as part of his work and as part of his passion for travel and adventure. Kyle’s routes are SO off-road, he added an in-bed auxiliary fuel tank which provides 100 extra gallons in areas where gas stations and cell service are scarce. “From my long travels between Nevada and Utah, to adventuring into steep rugged mountains, my truck has always had the power and reliability to get me there,” said Myrick.? ? Myrick depends on his Heavy-Duty Ram truck, powered by a Cummins 6.7L Turbo Diesel, in all four seasons of the year and in a variety of terrains and elevations. He counts driving over the Sierra Nevada Mountains during a giant snowstorm as his greatest Ram Truck adventure. His truck gave him the confidence to reach his family safely.
