Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, a day we wish we didn't need to have. Globally, almost one in three women will be subjected to violence in their lifetime. The Rally Starter community is dedicated to doing something about this, starting by demanding justice for Leshia Jackson, a Black woman who went missing in El Dorado, Arkansas sometime between October 31 and November 2, 2020. In addition to finding Leshia, this rally seeks to bring attention to the alarming number of missing Black women in the United States and to demand action from law enforcement and local officials to ensure that all missing persons cases are investigated thoroughly and with the same level of urgency.
