QuickTakes sat down for a chat with Michael Iwashima, a Santa Clara University student and founder of the AI Collaborate club, to learn about his thoughts on AI & how he's helping students put their interest into practice.

At edkey, we are on the forefront?of AI innovation in the education?sector, and we focus on opportunities to democratize access to education and lifelong learning. As part of our efforts to push AI boundaries, we partnered with The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research for the Future Thailand Expo in Bangkok. We debuted and showcased an AI avatar tutor, designed to facilitate interactive English language learning for Thai workers. Our aim is to upskill workers and support them in?various specialized sectors. Below, you can see how exhibition guests conversed with our demo avatar display, experiencing the interactive teaching and learning capabilities of AI firsthand in real-time. In just three days we had over 1,000 exhibit goers interact with our AI tutor and have detailed live conversations!

What a Day!! I really want to thank Fateme Dinmohammadi for giving me the opportunity to take part in The Festival of Learning and Teaching 2024 at University of West London. A lot of lecturers and professionals presented yesterday and it felt very special to be there aswell as one of the presenters. I have presented a brief research on how to optimise learning experiences using AI platforms. Some platforms like Quillionz, Squirrel Ai Learning, Grammarly and QuickTakes AI. I was very happy to receive some very positive feedback and I want to thank everyone that decided to tag along.
