This event is crucial in advocating for the future of EMS in our state, ensuring our voices are heard by legislative leaders. Our team, including?CEO Bryan Gibson, Director of Government & Industry Relations Dennis Rowe, and Sam Clark, VP of Operations for First Call Ambulance, had the opportunity to meet with key leaders like?Secretary of State Tre Hargett?and?Lt. Governor Randy McNally?to discuss the legislative priorities that impact EMS providers and the communities we serve.

  • We’re proud to share that Carlene Sifford, our Director of Global Supply Chain, represented Priority OnDemand at the Volunteer Tennessee Conference in Franklin, TN on February 17! During the event, Volunteer Tennessee re-presented the Certificate of Appreciation originally awarded to Priority OnDemand on March 15, 2024. This recognition highlights our donation of over 300,000 medical supplies to support local Community Emergency Response Teams, Medical Reserve Corps units, Disaster Animal Response Teams, and numerous disaster volunteer programs across Tennessee. Carlene also participated in a roundtable discussion, sharing insights on global supply chain strategies and the impact of our contributions to emergency preparedness. A huge thank you to Carlene for representing Priority OnDemand and for her dedication to making a difference in our communities!

In this role, O’Neil will lead patient experience initiatives and strategic growth efforts to advance OnDemand Visit’s mission of transforming healthcare delivery through innovative mobile healthcare solutions. “Maggie’s extensive customer experience background and expertise in developing innovative, patient-centered programs will be invaluable as we expand and enhance delivery care options for our patients,” said Eric Van Horn, CEO of OnDemand Visit.     Priority Ambulance has promoted Christopher Blach to West Regional President, overseeing operations across Arizona and Wyoming. Blach, who previously served as Vice President of Operations for Priority Ambulance, brings more than 30 years of emergency medical services experience to this expanded role. His extensive background includes leadership positions with Global Medical Response and Rural/Metro Corporation, where he focused on operations management, strategic planning, and business development. “Chris has a proven track record in managing complex EMS operations, and his deep industry expertise makes him an ideal choice to lead our teams and grow the company’s western footprint,” said Phil Koster, Chief Operating Officer for Priority Ambulance.   • Priority OnDemand, a healthcare services company integrating EMS, medical transportation, telehealth, patient logistics, and vehicle solutions optimizing medical transportation and care delivery, announced two strategic leadership appointments. Steve Blackburn has been named Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), a newly created position, while Phil Koster has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Priority Ambulance. “As Priority OnDemand continues its trajectory of exceptional growth, it’s important that our leadership structure also evolves to meet the demands of our expanding organization,” said Bryan Gibson, CEO of Priority OnDemand. “Steve’s extensive operational expertise and deep understanding of our business make him the ideal candidate to serve as our first Chief Administrative Officer, where he will oversee administrative functions across our family of companies.” In his new role as CAO, Blackburn will focus on companywide strategic planning and implementing infrastructure and systems to support future growth.   • The American Ambulance Association (AAA) has announced the election of Brenda Staffan, Chief Government Affairs and Public Policy Officer for Priority OnDemand, to its Board of Directors. Staffan will serve as the Region Five Director for a three-year term, representing Arizona, California, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Utah. With more than three decades of experience in emergency medical services (EMS) and healthcare policy, Staffan brings a wealth of expertise and a long-standing commitment to the ambulance industry. Staffan currently leads Priority OnDemand’s government relations and public policy strategies, driving sustainable partnerships and advocating for policies that support innovative and efficient healthcare delivery.
