PMOGA, PMI’s community for PMOs and PMO professionals, now offers even more ways for PMI members to step up, get involved, and lead. Through the new PMOGA Regional Hubs, you have the unique opportunity to take on leadership roles that will help shape the future of the PMO community in your region. Working in close collaboration with our PMI chapters, PMOGA Regional Hubs serve eight key regions—Africa, Asia Pacific, China, Europe, Latin America, MENA (Middle East & North Africa), North America, and South Asia. These hubs report directly to the PMOGA global team, enabling leaders to focus on regional needs and enhance the value and effectiveness of PMOs in their areas. Our Regional Hubs are hosted on the PMOGA Online Community Platform, where anyone can join and actively participate: https://lnkd.in/dHjxYta8. Unlike PMI chapters, PMOGA Regional Hub leaders aren’t elected but are selected from candidates who apply through the Volunteer Engagement Platform (VEP) at PMI.org. The initial eight PMOGA Regional Hub leaders have recently been selected, and we’re now entering the second phase: recruiting additional leadership team members for each hub. These new volunteers will be led by these recently appointed regional leaders, with discussions and collaboration taking place in the hub spaces on our online community. Each Regional Hub currently offers five distinct leadership roles to complete the leadership team under our newly appointed regional hub leaders: 1. Online Experience Lead 2. Communications Lead 3. I’m excited to give you all a sneak peek into the new PMO Value Ring Framework, which will be officially launched with the release of the new PMI PMO Practice Guide during PMO unCON, PMI’s signature PMO global event happening on December 9-10 in Istanbul, Türkiye. This new framework represents the next evolution in PMO practices, rooted in the foundational insights of the original PMO Value Ring methodology. In this article, I’ve added specific notes in blue for those already familiar with the original PMOVR methodology and/or who hold a PMO-CP/PMO-CC credential.
