My digital marketing journey actually started when I made my first website in 1996, where I repost Hong Kong popstar's latest news on my site. My 2nd website was a poetry website, built back in 1999, and I had a consistent of 200 readers throughout the next 3 years.

I did not know the value of having a list, so as my interest in writing poetry faded, I wiped my 200 contacts. What a big mistake!

Another lesson was waiting for me to learn as I got my first online sale in 2004.?

It was an ebook, and I was ecstatic! But since I was born in Hong Kong I was not proud of my English and grammar, and I took down the website because I was embarrassed.?

What I didn’t realize is that getting even 1 sale online was rare, and if I just “kept going” even if things weren’t perfect, my whole life would have been different.?

I could not see the value in my work, because I came from a negative upbringing. I sat in that hamlet for six years...stuck in a cashier job even I was college graduated.

Until my health no longer allows me to work as an employee, I realized to change my mindset can be done in just a second when I decided to take action, instead of inaction.

I sent an intro to all my LinkedIn connections and got a job offer in a niche I never heard of, but instead of rejecting the job, I took the job, overdeliver on the job and got a great testimonial, and get another job.?

This is why I’m passionate about empowering business owners to turn their expertise into a well-recognized brand on the internet and convert exposure into sales.

I believe everyone can get a slice of digital marketing, made it their own, and profit from it. That digital marketing can level the playing field in the 21st century - a tool that can help many people to achieve their dreams, and transform many lives from the state of brokenness to feeling they are living on purpose, and feeling being fuflled.

As I continue to walk in this digital path, I realize I can reposition my digital marketing business with my story, to attract more people to join my digital marketing training. And it is then I realize that I can do the same for other people who are seeking to find a better way to market their product and service.

I can turn a story that has long forgotten, was ashamed of, and turn into a marketing vehicle. And make them proud of telling that story on virtual stages, that will bring in revenue for their business and services.

My company vision is to help those who are ready to spread the message through public speaking on virtual stages, to build a business and program around their stories of which their audience can resonate with them through their products and services.

Stories themselves do not sell. But stories that resonate with their audience's pains and the journey will surely add to the speaker's relatability, hence strengthen the trust and the bond in the brand.

Indeed, a story can be told from many different angles and perspectives, and each angle and perspective can be used to achieve different marketing objectives, depending on how you position your product and services using just a snapshot of the story.
