????????? Celebrating Success! ??? ?????? Congratulations to the 16 Per Scholas Greater Boston IT Support technologists who celebrated their #graduation on Friday at Cambridge Public Library! Your hard work, dedication, and resilience have led you to this incredible achievement. As you step into the next phase of your journey, we’re inspired by the wisdom shared by our guest speakers during your graduation: ?? Noah Mitchell: "Lift your gaze to experience something different throughout your journey." ?? James Mavourneen: "Stay curious and keep on learning; stay relevant; help others. Believe in yourself. Do not be defined by others. It’s not a race—do what you love." ?? Enna Jimenez: "Faith and determination kept us going no matter how tough times got. It’s not where you start that defines you but rather the way you persist through the journey. Every journey worth taking will have challenges. There will be setbacks, but they will move you forward. Nobody gets to decide your value but you. Believe in yourself. There is power in owning who you are unapologetically." To our graduates: let these words guide and empower you as you embark on exciting new opportunities in #tech. To our partners and supporters, including our graduation sponsor, SIM Boston: thank you for championing our mission and investing in the future of diverse tech talent. Together, we’re creating pathways to success. #PerScholas #TechTalent #SIMBoston #ITSupport #TechCareers #Inspiration #unlockingpotential #techtraining #DiversityinTech

Earlier this year, Prince Donkor helped us celebrate a graduation at Google. Today, we would like to celebrate his big accomplishment! Congratulations Prince on your first launch! Enjoy the spoils! You deserve it!
Excited to share my first major feature launch as part of the Android System UI team at Google! ?? I helped develop the new Home Controls screensaver feature in Android 15, which transforms your device into a smart home dashboard while docked. What makes this particularly special is its inclusivity - it's designed to work not just with Google Home, but with any smart home app that implements the Device Controls API we introduced in Android 14. It's incredibly rewarding to see this feature being covered by Android Authority and even more fulfilling to know it will make smart home control more accessible and convenient for users across different devices and platforms. Big thanks to the amazing team of designers, product managers, and fellow engineers who supported and collaborated on bringing this vision to life. This is just the beginning, and I'm looking forward to continuing to enhance the Android experience for users worldwide!
