On October 23, 2024, PCs for People Greater St. Louis will host an open house at our facility in Belleville, IL, to celebrate our transformation into a national processing center?. Attendees will have the chance to tour the facility and witness how retired organizational computers are refurbished into home computers for low-income families. This event also provides an opportunity to engage with staff about potential partnership opportunities. This event is ideal for you if: - You represent an organization serving low-income communities in need of technology. - You are passionate about digital inclusion. - You prioritize sustainability. - You are involved with an organization that disposes of decommissioned computer equipment and other electronics. Thank you to Belle Clair Rotary for organizing and staffing an electronics collection event to benefit PCs for People! Over 2,600 lbs of computers and other electronics were collected and saved from landfills.
