The American Orthopaedic Association's Own the Bone? program is a national post-fracture, systems-based, multidisciplinary fragility fracture prevention initiative. Own the Bone's web-based registry and 10 prevention measures transform the way your hospital or practice group treats fracture patients. The ultimate goal is to change physician and patient behavior to reduce incidence of future fractures and positively impact bone health treatment.

The American Orthopaedic Association's Own the Bone program would like to welcome FREMONT ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATES, P.C as a newly enrolled institution. Fremont Orthopaedics is a small orthopaedic practice in rural Wyoming. Their goal is to decrease osteoporosis-related morbidity in their county and decrease post-operative complications. “We were thrilled to learn about the Own the Bone program as we sought to develop tools and systems for improving bone health throughout rural Wyoming.
