JEC World 2025 draws to a close today. This week, we’ve experienced in full force the remarkable ingenuity and innovation that characterize the global composites industry. Earlier this week, I was honored to join a group of industry leaders in kicking off the 60th edition of this event as a keynote speaker at the JEC Leadership Circle program in Paris. While we serve multiple corners of the industry, it was encouraging to see many shared themes in our views of the opportunities for composites going forward. The next 60 years will require bold leadership, innovation, and collaboration to position the composites industry as a driver – and beneficiary – of global progress. In my remarks, I shared four pillars we believe will be critical to the growth of composites: ? Scalable innovation of next-generation solutions to unlock new opportunities. ? Standardization to simplify adoption of glass fiber composites across industries. ? Strong and stable supply chains to minimize risks through diversified sourcing and regional production. ? Sustainability and circularity to reduce emissions, energy use, and waste during production. The past 60 years have produced amazing innovations. Together, we can shape a future where composites build a sustainable world. And that begins with the many imaginative concepts and solutions that were on display this week in Paris.
