Great talk by Maria Bonvissuto today at #aaaconf25! She shared the exciting work we’re doing at Cleveland Clinic Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery to optimize the patient experience with the novel use of boothless aided speech testing. Talk about thinking outside the booth! We’re getting creative to compare devices, track results, counsel, confirm outcomes, and identify cochlear implant candidates. This might have been Dr Bonvissuto’s first AAA talk, but I’m sure it won’t be her last! And thanks for the great collab Tina Marks and @ LiaSantiago!

We're excited to announce our new residents that have matched with us and will be starting in July 2025 - Radhika Duggal, Nikita Joshi, Alia Tayara and Derek Vos! Radhika will be graduating from Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. She has been well known to us over the years, having spent time with us during her research year as well as her acting internship. Nikita comes to use from the University of Massachusetts T.H. Chan School of Medicine. She did an away rotation with us and had a great experience with the staff and residents that worked with her. Alia will be graduating from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. She has shown dedication to teaching, research and volunteerism during her time as a medical student. Derek will be graduating from Case Western Reserve University. He completed a year of research with our facial plastics section and was very successful, along with an acting internship with our department. Welcome, we are thrilled to have you all join us!
