On behalf of the Ninth Circuit Opportunity and Equality Committee, we are pleased to share a video that provides insight into the law clerk application process, particularly focusing on graduates of non-top 14 law schools.? ? In 2019, the Ninth Circuit Opportunity and Equality Committee formed its Law Clerk Diversity Subcommittee in order to encourage a broader group of law clerk applicants to all courts within the circuit.?Recently, the subcommittee hosted a panel to address the common myth regarding federal clerkships that judges only hire graduates of the top 14 law schools.?This presentation challenges that myth and provides insight into the law clerk application process from multiple perspectives including a current Ninth Circuit judge, a law professor and three practicing lawyers who are former law clerks from non T-14 schools.?The panel may be viewed on demand at https://lnkd.in/gjZVd5qG.
