?? Last night, the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network hosted the 3rd Angel Oregon Life & Bioscience (AOBIO) Investment Mixer. Over 100 people joined us at the Mission Theater in Portland to celebrate the innovators and disruptors in the region developing cutting edge medical devices, therapeutic food, gene therapies and sustainable fibers. ?? Over 23 companies went through an investment-readiness education cohort, 15 companies applied for the investment, 12 startups went through diligence and 5 founders were invited to pitch on stage. All this lead to the MOST CHALLENGING investment decision the OEN angel investors have ever made and John Williams stewarded them thru the process. ?? Congratulations to Andy Seykora and the team at Axia Orthopedics for receiving a $185,000 investment. And congratulations to NeuraMedica Inc. ESG Brands Savorease Therapeutic Foods and SynPlexity for the work you are leading throughout Oregon. I am so inspired by your work. ?? ??
