We had a great time this morning at Volunteers of America wrapping up our 2023 Les Schwab/CBS Sacramento Toy Drive. Thank you to our partners, Les Schwab Tire Centers, Del Rio & Caraway, P.C., and Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics for helping collect over 10,000 toys and bikes for children in our local communities. We're happy to announce the latest addition to the CBS Sacramento team, Producer Annie Thurman. She's a recent graduate of UC Berkeley's Film and Media Studies program and a former student at McClatchy High in Sacramento. When she's not working, Annie enjoys watching documentaries, hiking, and visiting Japanese restaurants and coffee shops.

We're happy to introduce Brandon Downs to the CBS Sacramento digital team. He comes to us from Chico, where he was the digital content manager at KHSL. He loves spending time outdoors -- doing things like running, mountain biking, and camping. Originally from San Diego, Brandon is a huge Padres fan.

Producer Jensen Williams also joined us in October. Before coming to Sacramento, Jensen produced at KRCR in Redding. Jensen grew up in Bakersfield and attended Cal State Fullerton where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in journalism.?She’s a big soccer fan, having played for 16 years.

We're happy to welcome a newer member of the CBS Sacramento producing team: Chantelle Edwards. Chantelle joined us in October from the Seattle area where had previously worked at KIRO and KCPQ. When she’s not working, you’ll find her outdoors backpacking, surfing, snowboarding, and spending time with her greyhound, Dude.
