Event to come: Two special volunteer opportunities have been provided to our council for the month of May! We really hope you'll think about coming to one or both of them! In order to get diapers ready for distribution, the Columbus Diaper Coalition has asked if we could assist them with packing. For this event, we can accept up to 12 volunteers. By Friday, May 17th, please RSVP to Michelle at [email protected]. Feel free to bring a coworker and support this wonderful cause. Lunch provided. National Military Appreciation Month occurs in May! We wanted to find a way to thank the troops for what they do for us because we adore them. You might wonder, how? Yard labor! We are going to assist a veteran and his family with some spring cleaning for a few hours. Mount Gilead is where they are situated (approximately 45 min. north of Columbus). After the diaper packing party, we'll go to their house and head back to Columbus about 3:30 or 4 p.m. Please ask any questions you may have to Michelle!

Diaper donation success! This year we were able to donate enough diapers (2,739) and wipes (488) to help support 126 babies! Over the past three years, we have donated a little more than 9,000 diapers and 3,471 wipes to help 458 babies/families in our community! A BIG thank you to all who have donated!!!

In case you missed it, here are some key take-aways from "Simplify Your Sales Method" a virtual education seminar presented by Jodi Howes: - Be comfortable confronting different scenarios that occur throughout the estimating and sales process. - Be purposeful and confident with your communication, listening to your customer first, to allow understanding of their needs and wants. - How to be "real" to your customer in order to build trust! - How to effectively communicate with different personalities.
