Northeastern University Toronto Takes Enactus Central by Storm! For the first time ever, our students competed in three categories at Enactus Central—30+ universities and colleges participated—and they won big! ?? Winners of the TD Entrepreneurship Challenge! ?? Second Runner-Up in the Canadian Tire Environmental Sustainability Challenge! ?? Second Runner-Up in the Enactus Canada Alumni Innovation & Impact Challenge! And they did it all with zero budget! Their project, Second Plate, is a testament to the power of social entrepreneurship. Launched in February, it has already shown that real change is possible, tackling both food waste and food insecurity with innovative solutions. Countless late nights and relentless determination brought them to this moment. I couldn’t be any prouder of them as their faculty advisor. Kudos to the team captains and presenters, Areeb Salsabil and Vaishal Jariwala!
