About the August program: At first, grant professionals were worried that ChatGPT was going to replace us, but now that we realize Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a complex tool we can choose to utilize or not, we simply need to make sure we are using AI Machine Learning tools in a responsible and ethical way.? Whether you are afraid of it altogether, play with it just a little, or are using it so much that you have reduced your work week; we all need to #1- understand what AI/Large Language Models are, #2- hear about the ways other grant professionals are finding its’ use helpful, #3- examine what to be cautious of when using these tools in our day-to-day work, and #4- discover how you can reduce your risk and the risk of your organization and/or client when using AI. The trainer will also provide many resources to advance your learning about the use of AI as it is an ever-changing field. Attendance is free for?GPA members; $15 non-members. ? As a Grant Professional Association (GPA) Approved Trainer, Cyndi presents webinars, as well as in-person and customized training, on topics ranging from grant readiness to uniform guidance compliance. Cyndi has been a GPA Grant News contributing author, a 6-year member of the GPA Ethics Committee, and was published in the GPA Journal in 2023.? She also co-trains the GPA Next Level Course, a 12-month grant course for new grant professionals. Cyndi is the recipient of the Grant Professional Certification Institute 2020 Pauline G.
