Leave the scares to haunted houses ??, spooky music ?? and frightening movies! ?? Don’t turn those into real-life dangers by drinking and driving. Buzzed Driving Is Drunk Driving.

关于我们
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol's primary mission is to reduce collisions and make the highways of North Carolina as safe as possible. The State Highway Patrol has more than 1,600 troopers who cover nearly 80,000 miles of North Carolina roadways, more than any other state except Texas. In addition to enforcing the state's traffic laws, state troopers also guide traffic during hurricane evacuations, re-route traffic around hazardous chemical spills, and they stand ready, should any act of terrorism occur. State Troopers are committed to protecting North Carolina's motoring public. Please be alert and drive responsibly.

Sgt. A. T. Bost and Trooper W. P. Efird recently attended the 5th Annual 53-Strong DeAthlon hosted by The DeAngelo Williams Foundation in Monroe. DeAngelo Williams, former running back of the Carolina Panthers and the Pittsburgh Steelers, started the foundation in 2006 in honor of his mother and four aunts that all passed away from breast cancer. The foundation’s main focus is to spread breast cancer awareness in hopes to one day eradicate this disease. The turnout at this year's event was spectacular, and NCSHP was excited to bring both of our cancer awareness vehicles to the event, SHP-HOPE and SHP-CURE, respectively! Participants in the event conducted a fun, yet challenging, workout consisting of a 3.4 mile run (representative of DeAngelo's #34 football jersey). Then they cycled for 53 miles, which signifies his mother's age when she lost her battle with cancer. Thank you to everyone who came together to make this event a success while honoring the memory of those who have lost their lives to this devastating disease.
