Another milestone was reached this week when the amount of debris removed from western North Carolina surpassed 1 Million Cubic Yards! That's 40.3 million five gallon buckets. It is enough debris to fill a 27 million square foot area if spread out at a depth of 1 foot. It's a lot of debris. We are far from completing the debris removal mission and crews are working everyday across the mountains to clean up from #helene. #ReadyNC #HeleneNC #NCStrong
