NextFlex Learning Programs operate under the workforce development and education arm of NextFlex?, America’s Hybrid Electronics Institute. Our programming focuses on recruitment, awareness building, and skill building for the broader advanced manufacturing sector and hybrid electronics (HE) community. As part of our mission to create a talent pipeline for the advanced manufacturing sector and HE community, NextFlex has developed programs that leverage our position as an intermediary organization in this space. Each program is designed to address a critical gap in the progression of talent through the labor market beginning with K-12 and extending through the incumbent workforce.

FlexFactor high school team from Pioneer High School, Infant Insight will be giving a special presentation to the NextFlex community at Innovation Days! Infant Insight will be speaking on Wednesday March, 26th at 12pm - 12:30pm PT. Infant Insight was formed by four Pioneer High School Sophomores, Natalee Reynolds, Sophia Tayco, Tessa Camama, and Calina Toa-Gonzales, in their AP Seminar class. In this class they became involved in NextFlex's FlexFactor Program where they were assigned to create a product incorporating Flexible Hybrid Technology. From this prompt Infant Insight, a flexible patch that monitors the health of a baby when applied to an arm or torso and relays the information to a mobile device application, was formed. Infant Insight strives to provide a helpful tool for parents and guardians to feel confident in their children's health and to collect further data on the contributors to sudden infant death syndrome, alongside other infant illnesses It is not too late to register! Recapping the FlexFactor Final Pitch Presentations at Northeast Jones High School were a great success! With 67 students participating, it was a very exciting and competitive atmosphere! It was clear that the students really put in a lot of effort! The hard work they invested into developing Flexible Hybrid Electronics (FHE) over the 8 weeks was intense. It’s always exciting to see students take on complex, hands-on projects like this. It’s fantastic to see such innovative programs like #FlexFactor fostering creativity and technological skills for our young innovators! Here’s a recap of the South Jones High School’s NextFlex Learning Programs FlexFactor Final Pitch Presentations. With over 80 students presenting, it was a dynamic and competitive environment. It’s exciting to see so many young minds engaging with advanced technologies and entrepreneurship. FlexFactor is a 4-8 week project-based learning program designed to provide students with hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of how advanced technologies intersect with entrepreneurship and career hdevelopment through Jones College. February?is Career and Technical Education Month. What better way to highlight the importance of skills-based training and technical education than with NextFlex Military Spouse ProFIT training project - sponsored by OSD ManTech’s Manufacturing Education and Workforce program. ? ProFIT, short for Prototyping for the Internet of Things (IoT), kicked off last October in collaboration with Central New Mexico Community College Ingenuity program to offer training and employment support tailored to military spouses near Kirtland Airforce Base. ? This month, the first Military Spouse ProFIT graduate started a paid internship with a data analytics company focused on energy infrastructure. Twelve other students are currently in the IoT program and will graduate with the necessary skills to put them on the path for a rewarding career. The NextFlex Military Spouse ProFIT training project aims to boost career readiness for existing, well-paying opportunities in advanced manufacturing. #DoD #ManTech #TechSkills
