The New Venture Championship (NVC) is a business competition for undergraduate and graduate students from around the world, hosted by the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business. Participants present their business plans, receive constructive feedback from local industry leaders, and compete for the chance to win cash awards. The competition is an opportunity for emerging entrepreneurs to gain exposure, expand their network, and increase their professionalism. Combining the excitement of business startup culture and competition, NVC creates an atmosphere in which great ideas can be born. Each team is able to walk away with experience, constructive criticism, and a monetary reward. The New Venture Championship is more than a networking event and business competition—it is a chance for students to start their business journey.
