We just got back from Nashville after the 30th National Ethanol Conference, organized by Renewable Fuels Association. What a great week we had! Conversations were nonstop, and the energy around ethanol’s future was stronger than ever. One of the highlights was seeing our CEO, Dave VanderGriend, take part in the “Back to the Beginning: Celebrating Our Roots” panel. As one of the pioneers in the industry, he shared firsthand stories about ethanol’s early days and the key moments that shaped its growth. At our booth, we caught up with customers, met new faces, and had great discussions, which is what makes these events so valuable. And of course, no conference is complete without a little time to unwind. The evening reception brought everyone together over good conversation and some live country music in true Nashville style. It was an absolute pleasure meeting Laura Renfroe and Lisa Wang from Antora Energy at the RFA National Ethanol Conference, whose thermal batteries convert renewable electricity (i.e. wind) into high-temperature heat, helping ethanol producers cut energy costs and emissions, which is important for producers in lowering their carbon intensity (CI) score. Last week, the Renewable Fuels Association hosted its 30th Annual National Ethanol Conference in Nashville, where Antora was a proud sponsor of the event.
