Urban wildfires, like the ones in Southern California, Hawai’i, and Colorado, expose people to serious, long-term health risks. Our 2022 report identifies information that can help those affected by fires operate more safely in burned environments, understand the pollutants they may be exposed to, and ways to reduce their exposure.
