Self-Cleaning Coatings for Space or Earth ?? NASA Kennedy Space Center has developed a new transparent Electrodynamic Dust Shield (EDS) for removing dust particles from transparent surfaces, like space and lunar solar cells. These advanced coatings operate at half the voltage of existing EDSs while being 90% thinner. This technology unlocks new possibilities across industries on Earth, including solar panels, building windows, farming equipment, automotive sensors, and more.
