?NEW: LCF is excited to launch its latest initiative aimed at opening doors for Latinos to achieve economic mobility: The Latino Capital Accelerator. ? Our new Latino Capital Accelerator is an 18-month intensive program designed to close the systemic funding gap for Latino businesses. The program draws from the best practices of our Nonprofit Accelerator and will equip community-based organizations with the resources and expertise necessary to achieve or maintain their CDFI status.?It will also support cohort participants through custom consultancy to secure new funding and develop robust technical skills to better serve Latino entrepreneurs. ? Yesterday, the Biden-Harris Administration held a Latino Economic Virtual Townhall to highlight the Administration's commitment to fostering economic equity among the Latino community across the country. Through initiatives like the Investing in America Agenda and support from agencies like the Department of Treasury, MBDA, and U.S. Small Business Administration, monumental resources have been directed toward enhancing economic opportunities for Latino entrepreneurs. Testimonials from Latino business owners and leaders took place and included that of Executive Director of Ventures Non Profit, a Capital Readiness Program awardee, Monique Valenzuela.
