A few days ago Ajdin Pasic had the pleasure of co hosting a workshop in Iceland with our Commercialization Director in Stewardship, Ruthann Bartello, CFA to discuss Morningstar Sustainalytics' Engagement offerings. It was an engaging session where we explored how a collaborative approach within the Icelandic market can drive meaningful change in sustainable investing. Our discussion underscored the importance of taking a proactive stance on ESG issues and leveraging our collective strengths to positively influence companies. What is the UK Stewardship Code? This code sets high stewardship standards for those investing money on behalf of UK savers and pensioners, and those that support them. Being accepted as a signatory is important to our UK-based clients, as well as our clients around the world who are looking to us, as a service provider, to meet this very high standard. The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) revamped the Code in 2020 to ensure it accurately?reflects investors needs and market realities and will open it up for public consultation again later this year. ??
