Big Impact, Small Investment: The Power of Assistive Technology Act Programs! Did you know that for the past 10 years, every $1 invested in Assistive Technology Act Programs saw a return of $2.22 in savings and benefits?!?That’s a 122% return on investment—all while empowering millions of people with disabilities and older adults! From 2013 to 2023, federal funding of $305M helped serve 6.7 million people, increasing access to life-changing assistive technology. And it doesn’t stop there—an additional $256M was leveraged from outside partnerships to further expand these critical resources. With the 2022 reauthorization of the AT Act, we’re just getting started. Let’s keep advocating for sustainable funding and greater access to assistive technology for all who need it!
