One of our proudest achievements at Women's Affordable Housing Network (WAHN) is the launch of #WAHNU— opening college campus chapters across the country to share more about the diverse careers in affordable housing and attract the brightest talent to our industry. These students are already bringing fresh, creative ideas to the future of housing. They are driven and working in partnership with their colleges and universities, as well as National and local WAHN chapters, to establish their own chapters. University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill students, under the leadership of Nicki Harris and Isabelle Norman and advisor Mark Shelburne (who are working on approval from the school to formally open the chapter) are already exemplifying the spirit of #WAHNgives by participating in a Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, NC build.
