We recently welcomed faculty grant recipients from the Accelerating Foundation Models Research (AFMR) initiative for Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) to Microsoft headquarters in Redmond. This AFMR-MSI initiative supports Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Hispanic-Serving Institutions by providing access to cutting-edge foundation models hosted on Microsoft Azure through Microsoft AI services.
