Join Dino Giordano, VP of Engineering at Microlab (A Division of RF Industries), for his informative session titled “Site Performance IoT Monitoring to Improve Operations and Efficiency.” This session will be held at #IWCE 2025 in Las Vegas on March 19th from 4:20 to 5:20 PM. Dino will be joined by fellow panelists Alphie Kilgus from Lantronix, Kurt Beecher from AT&T, and Richard DeFelice from RF Industries. Eric Toenjes from Graybar will moderate the discussion. In this presentation, Dino will highlight the importance of implementing site monitoring with #IoT devices. Organizations can realize significant benefits by monitoring #HVAC and #DAC systems, including reduced #energy consumption, lower maintenance costs, optimized cooling, and detecting performance anomalies. Key factors such as temperature, AC and DC current draw, and overall site performance will provide operators with essential data for site improvement. Dino has over 25 years of experience in the #DAS enhancement industry and leads teams at RF Industries and Microlab focusing on designing and developing all their products. CM-680E, Microlab’s ultra-wideband 3x3 hybrid #combiner, has been upgraded to improve its electrical performance across the 617 to 5925 MHz frequency range. Improvements in coupling, isolation, and return loss work together to enhance network reliability, reduce signal interference, and improve signal quality, which is crucial for dense networks and increased network capacity. A hybrid combiner is most commonly used to combine up to three wireless carriers in the operating bands to multiple antenna feeds or distribution cables. It is designed for 5G #DAS / D-RAN and Small Cell applications and offers low #PIM, low VSWR, and an IP67 rating.?Get the datasheet:??https://lnkd.in/etXAqqzK

Our newly published technical brief explores how minor variations in the technical #performance of passive components, such as #insertion losses, can significantly affect the overall project. Most passive devices in a #DAS are typically chosen for their price or availability. However, selecting devices based on performance is crucial, especially with new technologies like #5G, #CBRS, and #CBand. Higher component losses can reduce signal strength and quality, requiring more branches for adequate coverage. While #passive components in a network are generally low-cost compared to active gear and installation, their impact on total deployment costs is significant. Understanding your design criteria and making accurate estimations can help you gauge how additions like antennas and feeder cables can rapidly increase overall #network costs, influencing your project bid.
