Memphis Made a Statement at SXSW! We had an incredible time showcasing Memphis at SXSW in Austin, TX with LaunchTN and fellow Tennessee organizations! 901 Day was a huge success, from an insughtful panel featuring Kyle Veazey and Ankur Jain of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC, moderated by Meka Egwuekwe of CodeCrew, to recapping the Chambers role in ushering in xAI and solidifying our region as the Digital Delta in the AI race. The day wrapped up with Memphis tech pitches from Corami Biotech, Limber Robotics, and Youdle, plus an epic Elvis lookalike celebration for his 90th birthday and a Glorilla Glo Stick party that had the place lit! What does this line symbolize ? 1) A company coming into our market with quality jobs willing to work with the teams at the neighborhood level to get the word out 2) A chamber/EDO that has worked collaboratively with workforce partners to leverage the relationships of stakeholders to get Memphians into quality jobs - this isn't just an email .......This is intentional introductions of the company to form relationships that matter. It's way beyond the transactional and focussed on the long game.
