Finance Enthusiast, Risk Management and Resource Optimization

As a finance professional and an MBA/MS Finance Fellow of Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University, I am passionate about leveraging financial acumen to drive social and educational impact. My collaboration with the Paulsboro Pegasus Education Foundation (PPEF) has been both enlightening and profoundly impactful. ?? ?????????????????? ???????????????? ???? ?????????????????????? ?????????????????????? My journey with PPEF began with a clear objective: to utilize my financial expertise to support and expand PPEF's initiatives, starting with the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) programs at local schools. The role presented an exciting challenge—to intertwine financial strategies with educational outcomes, ensuring that each dollar spent was an investment into the future of Paulsboro's youth. The campaign targeted corporate sectors with robust Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) mandates, aligning PPEF's educational initiatives with potential donors' corporate responsibility goals. ???????????????? ???????? ?????????????? ?????????????????? ???????????????????? One of the most rewarding aspects of my role was engaging with various corporations to discuss potential partnerships. These discussions often revolved around how investment in STEAM education not only benefits students but also serves the long-term interests of the companies by preparing a future workforce skilled in critical and innovative thinking. The response was overwhelmingly positive, leading to meaningful partnerships that promised not just financial support but also opportunities for collaborative projects and corporate volunteer involvement. ?????? ???????????? ?????? ?????? ???????????? Reflecting on my time with PPEF, the progress we have made is palpable. Not only do we have a clear path to securing substantial funding that ensures the sustainability of STEAM education in Paulsboro, but we have also laid a strong foundation for future expansion. The upcoming STEAM centers at Paulsboro High School and Billingsport Early Childhood Center are a testament to the power of strategic financial planning and community-focused educational initiatives. Looking ahead, I am excited about the continued growth of PPEF's programs and the lasting impact they will have on the community. The intersection of finance and education is a dynamic field, and my experience at PPEF has reinforced my commitment to this vital area of work. This journey with PPEF has been a career-defining experience and a profoundly personal one. It has reinforced my belief in the transformative power of education and the role of finance in facilitating meaningful change. My appreciation goes to Jennifer Maden ?? Greg Payton, MS Jason Salvatore, Steve Anuszewski CLU, ChFC, Walter Quint, PPEF, Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University, and the Paulsboro Community. RCB Fellowship Program

?? Excited to Share My Journey with TixForGood ?? Embarking on my journey with Tix For Good was a pivotal moment marked by deep learning and profound impact. This adventure wasn't just a step forward in my career; it was a leap into making a tangible difference in the world. Securing a fellowship at the prestigious Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University to study Finance opened doors to applying my passion for #sustainable #development and #community #advocacy in the real world. With the guidance of Jennifer Maden, Greg Payton, MS, and all the fellows in the fellowship program, I had an opportunity to transform my academic pursuit into actionable change. This led me to the role of a nonprofit partnership development specialist at Tix For Good. Tix For Good, with its noble mission of bridging businesses and nonprofits, provided the perfect platform to actualize my dreams of community transformation. Meeting Marco Carolla, the visionary Executive Director of fundraising, in New Jersey was a confluence of minds and hearts. Together, we devised a groundbreaking engagement plan that went beyond enhancing operations; it redefined community engagement and premium fundraising services. Our journey saw tickets transformed into tools of change, making every event a gateway for philanthropy. By leveraging analytics and narratives, we showcased the tangible differences created through the donation of thousands of tickets. The stories of empowered nonprofits, connected communities, and the joy spread through our efforts were a testament to our mission's success. The strategic initiatives we undertook—expanding services, strengthening our technology, and building partnerships—ensured Tix For Good's place at the forefront of community engagement. The growth and positive impact on communities spoke volumes about our effectiveness and the potential to inspire change. This chapter of my life, highlighted by my fellowship and Marco's leadership, was not just about professional growth. It was about reinforcing the belief in collective action and innovation for sustainable development. Tix For Good stands as a symbol of hope and transformation, embodying the incredible impact one initiative can have on countless lives. I am immensely grateful for this experience, which continues to inspire me as I advance in my career and advocate for positive change. As a New MBA Fellow at the RCB Fellowship Program at Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University, I am excited and grateful to be working on the PAWS Farm Educational Center Social Impact Project with other MBA Fellows, such as Tomas, Luke, Siena, and Ronald, under the leadership of Phillip at the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University with the guidance and support of Dean Maden, Jason Salvatore, and Professor Greg Payton, MS. As we work on creating a comprehensive business plan for PAWS Farm Educational Center in Mount Laurel, I have had the opportunity to visit the farm twice now, learn its history, and explore the property while appreciating the tranquility of a trail and nature. The house and the butterfly garden are two of my favorite parts of the property. The house brought me a sense of familiarity and culture, and the garden reminded me of how personal growth emerges from embracing change, which I see in a butterfly life cycle. I invite you to follow along as we work to positively impact our communities, future generations, and the field of veterinary medicine! Check out this short video from my latest PAWS Farm tour and get a glimpse of the property's beauty.??
