We are looking for Smith/UMD alumni that are interested in offering real-time, "game day" support to our graduate students who are making their way through our Grad Career Expo on 9/27. In essence, you will play the role of sideline coaches during a ball game! We all know attending an event like this is stressful, especially for the large number of students for which this is their first ever career fair. We are gathering alumni together as real-time, "game day" support to our students -- students are welcomed to come to any alumni in the Alumni Corner and seek advice and support for navigating the career fair, insights and tips on making an impact, and helping them stay calm and stand out as they engage with employers at the event. This 2nd annual Graduate Expo will be on Friday, 9/27/24 at Stamp Student Union from 11am-2pm. The Expo is designed to connect our current graduate students (Masters and MBA) with some of our recruiting partners in a career fair-style event.
