Themed events and influencer activations? Common playbooks for DTC brands. But in B2B? Almost unheard of—until now. Microsoft just showed positive results from their B2B influencer events. A small, curated group of experts, real discussions, hands-on product demos—this is how you turn creators into ??????????????????. B2B brands, take notes: Your next event shouldn’t just be another conference panel. Make it an experience people actually want to talk about. 2025 prediction: the rise of B2B Influencer events Here's how I think it will shape out ?? Consumer brands nail influencer events. Especially in the beauty space. Brands like Tarte Cosmetics and rhode skin curate themed intimate events and invite beauty creators. This does three things 1?? Helps build long-term relationships with the influencers (avoiding the transactional relationship) 2?? Creates an environment where the influencers want to create content and post videos from the event. 3?? Educates the influencers on their product so they can become power users. I've also seen some brands invite their core customers to strengthen the relation between loyal customers and influencers. The problem is, these events don't really exist in B2B. But yesterday changed my perspective. Yesterday, I spent the day at a creator brunch with Microsoft 365. There was a group of 15-20ish B2B creators ranging from corporate humor, Excel creators, educators, and business owners. We had a roundtable discuss on AI and how professionals are using it in their workflow. The Microsoft team also gave us demos of their new Copilot tool (including their AI agent which was incredibly badass) Also, I got to hang with some amazing creators! My goal with Creatorbuzz? Help more B2B brands pull these intimate influencer events off. Thanks soo much to the team at Microsoft for putting this together!
