I could not be more proud that my first official pod was with the Marine Corps Association, and one of my teammates from FET (she lays low on the web). Nancy Lichtman’s experience and skills archiving and telling Marines’ stories for the iconic Leatherneck Magazine and the Marine Corps Gazette seamlessly intertwine our interview. I enjoyed Victor Ruble’s purview—there was a tangible synergy in our discussion with Vic’s experience as an infantry officer, in both Iraq and Afghanistan.? “Scuttlebutt” is an informative—and fun!—pod. No doubt, you’ll find a Marine whose story resonates with you. I’ll do a follow up post sharing a few episodes I enjoyed listening to. Thank you Nancy and Vic for the opportunity to expound upon the legacy of Lioness and FET, and an opportunity to discuss the mission for DOLLFACE6. It’s not disputed that as a Marine, you’re always at home when you’re with Marines. Semper Fidelis
??? New Episode: #185 – Female Engagement Team (FET) Veterans, Riane Donoho M. and Saje Mrowinski on the Lioness/FET Program! In this episode, Riane and Saje share their incredible experiences as part of the Lioness and FET Programs, where they worked alongside Marine combat units to engage with the female populations in primarily Muslim countries. Tune in for a powerful discussion on these trailblazing women’s journey! ??
