We were thrilled to host our Sport for Good Chicago Fall Town Hall recently, lucky to be surrounded by over 140 community leaders, from coaches to organizational leaders, funders to city officials. We heard great presentations from our friends from Movember and University of Illinois-Chicago about the mental health of our young people and the adults that support them. To kick off campaign month, Michelle Carlson of Movember shared eye-opening statistics about young men's mental health and discussed their multi-year commitment to our Sport for Good Cities. Breaking into small group discussions, the coalition brainstormed innovative and collective strategies for creating an ecosystem that promotes well-being for young people and adults alike. We look forward to the next time we're all together! #SportForGood | #Movember | #SportForGoodCHI

Our Elevating Black Leaders in Sport cohort met in Atlanta last week for the culmination of the program - we thank and celebrate the leaders for their commitment! The strong bonds and community formed during this program have left them well-equipped with the tools and network they need to continue impacting future generations through the power of sport. The leaders experienced the best of Atlanta while in town - with a program visit to our partners at First Tee - Metro Atlanta, a final fundraising workshop, and a win from the Hawks at their home opener! Special thank you to our partners at Gatorade and NBC Sports for their support of the #EBLS program and their commitment to elevating diverse leaders and increasing access to sport. #SportForGood

Last week, The Arctic Challenge team raced 4,800 meters down the Charles River at the historic Head Of The Charles Regatta, finishing strong with the 9th fastest time among 32 competitive crews. More meaningful than the race results was how the team came together to support the mission behind The Arctic Challenge. Driven by a commitment to giving back to New Orleans youth and inspiring young people around the world, we showed up with teamwork, resilience, and the courage to try something new. Thank you to the 5 incredible athletes who joined us on the racecourse to make this vision a reality. Athletes(bow to stern): Maggie Daly, Emily Daly, Harrison Soffer, Jimmy Graham, John Huppi, Andrew Tropp, Meghan OLeary, OLY, Hannah Huppi, and Bennett Rossell A special thank you to Boston University Rowing for the invaluable support throughout the weekend. From providing us with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, to the warm welcome we received from coaches, athletes, and alumni, we truly felt part of the BU Rowing family. It’s clear that BU Rowing has built something extraordinary, and we were privileged to experience the amazing community firsthand!
