?? Meet our new grant recipient: Gobo ?? Gobo is on a mission to make ticketing fair, affordable and flexible for independent shows. Founded by veterans of the entertainment industry, Gobo was born out of the frustration with dominant ticketing platforms and a passion for supporting live performances. With support from Launch MN, Gobo plans to scale awareness of its ticketing platform and partner with venues to pilot new tools that simplify event management. As the company grows, the founders hope to bring more partners, vendors and customers on board. By doing so, they hope to build a more connected and equitable future for live entertainment. Launch Minnesota is a new initiative spearheaded by Minnesota's Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). Designed in consultation with legislators from both parties, and alongside dozens of private sector leaders, the program exists to help grow Minnesota's startup ecosystem. Launch Minnesota will start inside of DEED, and will work with our advisory board and private sector stakeholders to become a public-private organization in the future.

??NEW GRANTEES! Launch MN and the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development have awarded $400,000 in grants to support 16 innovative Minnesota startups. All but two grantees are startups led by entrepreneurs of color, veterans, women, or persons with disabilities, or are located in Greater MN. Since 2019, Launch has awarded $9.5M in grant funding. These awards are assisting businesses at a critical stage in their development. Their technologies may change the way we work, learn and live.
