My KWILL Real Estate colleague John Coleman and I represented MB Foods LLC. in the acquisition of a corporate headquarters and food/beverage distribution building in the west suburban Lyons. KWILL identified a property that is strategically located for MB's delivery routes and has the capacity for 4,000 SF of cooler/freezer infrastructure to support their growing operations. Matthew Knafel and I represented the seller of 4419 S Halsted Street, a 26,500 SF food production and distribution building located near the Stockyards in Chicago. The purchaser was represented by Eric Chang of US Asia Group. KWILL was able to source prospects while the seller migrated their business to a new facility, brought in a temporary tenant to offset costs and coordinated timing and deal structure so the moving parts all came together at the proper time.
