They provided hands-on training to 22 residents, focusing on internal fixation principles and plating techniques. A significant highlight was our involvement in the Spine Scoliosis project at Coast General County Hospital, where three successful cases were completed using our implants. ???? From July 23 to 26, we rolled out the red carpet for Colombian doctors and customers, introducing them to Medtronic and Medtronic trauma new products. This was the FIRST TIME we engaged with Colombia in China, and we did it in style, visiting the vibrant cities of Shanghai, Wuxi, and Changzhou!?? ?? Global Knowledge Exchange: ???? Dr. Wu Mao from Wuxi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital shared: “Recovery is the key to surgical success; let’s not mess with bones that haven’t healed!” ???? Dr. Gilberto A. Herrera from Colombia chimed in with, “Quick, accurate decisions are vital for surgical success. The sooner the diagnosis, the sooner the recovery.” Different perspectives, same goal: better trauma recovery! This China-Colombia exchange was a goldmine of insights and learning. ? Exploring Medtronic: To give our Colombian friends a deeper dive into Medtronic, we toured the Medtronic Shanghai Innovation Center (MIC) and the Medtronic Shanghai Technology Center (MTC). They saw firsthand the cutting-edge progress of our Medtronic products, and the hands-on workshop was a hit, letting our guests experience the magic of our locally manufactured products: NeoSupra, Omnail, and VariLoc! ?? ?? ? Medtronic Changzhou Factory Tour: Astonished by our new products and curious about our manufacturing prowess, our Colombian visitors toured the Medtronic Changzhou factory. This plant not only caters to China but also acts as Medtronic’s global production base and Kanghui’s global manufacturing HQ. ?? ?? Medtronic Kanghui hosted two significant events to introduce Medtronic trauma new products on July 13 and July 27 in South Africa! ?? Johannesburg, July 13: The session "Complexities Around the Elbow" featured by Dr. Sinevici and Dr. Ngcakani with a virtual presentation by Carrie Wang on our trauma products. The workshop combined theoretical insights with practical training on the distal humerus, olecranon, proximal radius, and ulna. ?? Windhoek, July 27: To provide a broader understanding of our new designs and products, in Windhoek, we held another session called "Lower and Upper Limb Plating". It was collaborated with doctors and Medtronic's SADC Manager, Mandla Khanyile, included presentations and hands-on training on clavicle, humerus, ulna, radius, tibia, and femur plating techniques. ?? These events showcased our complete trauma product pipeline with both plates and nails. Thanks to the collaboration with our partners, all members joined to make it happen. The Omnail? launch in Malaysia on July 13, 2024, was a significant event focused on proximal femoral fractures.?It featured participation from ???? 16 healthcare professionals (HCPs)?and 4 distributors. ?? The implants and instruments of Omnail? Nailing System are designed to be adaptive and simple to implement. The Single Screw System and Universal Proximal Targeting Platform represent alternatives for different bone conditions & fractures, shortening the learning curve of surgeons at the same time. The short and long nails are both professioning at enhancing surgery stability & versatility, reducing surgical time, and lowering blood loss. ??
