"What I love most [about MSEM] is how all the courses work together. You develop a framework-based approach to problem-solving, learn how to prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment. It might not be obvious at first how each piece fits, but as you progress through the program, everything starts to click. The curriculum is designed so that classes like Professional Presentations enhance what you learn in Strategies [for Innovation and Growth], and the hands-on projects offer real-world practice with diverse teams and industries." We caught up with current student Himalaya Kadari to learn more about her experience in the JHU MSEM program. Himalaya tells us about MSEM's hands-on projects with the Johns Hopkins Hospital, her internships with UpSurge Baltimore and BMore Tech Connect, and the skills she developed that broadened her career options at the link below. https://lnkd.in/dD-SRyJ9 #msem #johnshopkinsuniversity #consulting #strategy

"When we love a school or a program, it’s often because of the people. The MSIL program fosters a tight-knit community where students and professors can form deep connections, and the faculty members are incredibly supportive. Additionally, MSIL offers a highly flexible curriculum, blending online and in-person courses. This flexibility has allowed me to dedicate time each semester to taking undergraduate courses in subjects that interest me, such as French, microeconomics, and various AI-related courses." We recently caught up with current MSIL student Harvey He to learn more about his experience in the program, attending the Immersion Program in London, and the courses and faculty that have made an impact on his plans post graduation. Here’s what Jessica has to say about HopStart and her advice for participants: ? Q: What do you enjoy most about being part of HopStart? ? “It is incredibly inspiring to see young people thinking about innovative ways to solve some of our world's greatest challenges.” ? Q: What advice would you give teams on building their business?? ? “Most teams tend to focus on the product or service (the fun part!) but not the business plan.
