Dear Colleagues, We are excited to share the Jefferson Center for Interprofessional Practice & Education (JCIPE) FY24 Annual Report, highlighting another year of innovation, collaboration, and meaningful impact. Over the past year, JCIPE has continued to expand its interprofessional education and practice initiatives, strengthening our commitment to team-based care, improving patient and population health, and fostering an inclusive learning environment for students, faculty, and clinicians. This report showcases key accomplishments, including the implementation of our new strategic plan, the success of our eighth biennial JCIPE Conference, the launch of a foundational IPE course, and groundbreaking initiatives like Team MICRO, addressing microaggressions in healthcare teams. None of this would be possible without the dedication and support of our partners, facilitators, and stakeholders like you. We invite you to explore the full report and celebrate the collective achievements that are shaping the future of interprofessional education and collaborative practice.? Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to advancing team-based care. ???? Our facilitators are getting ready for Alzheimer's Virtual Interprofessional Training (AVIT)! ?? Are you? ?????? Recently, our facilitators gathered to create their avatars and learn how to navigate Spatial, our new virtual world platform, in anticipation of our AVIT program this week. ???? During AVIT, student teams learn to appropriately assess, manage, and support patients and families affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Each team completes three simulations in a virtual world, acting out scenarios as patients with Alzheimer’s, their caregivers, and providers, in different settings. Teams debrief each simulation and the entire experience together. Amber King Brooke Salzman Deja Boodram Tracey Vause Earland Anne Bradley Mitchell Shoshana Sicks Sydney Garrett
