What a wonderful first-ever experience at?the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists?(or any conference, for that matter)! I presented my work from The Jackson Laboratory's Summer Student Program, Understanding the Growth of Xenografted Tumors. While presenting has never been my strongest skill, I found this opportunity very helpful in becoming more confident in my research skills, answering questions about my project, and making life-long connections with others. Thank you to The Jackson Laboratory for funding this amazing experience, and thank you so much Muneer Hasham for inviting me into your lab for the summer—it changed my life for the better!
