Last week, I had the opportunity to hear the top 4 teams of ninth grade students at Osceola High School present their resolutions to the shared initiative case challenge as part of the 3DE program led by Junior Achievement of Central Florida. I had a wonderful time serving as judge alongside my good friends and Junior Achievement of Central Florida representatives, Laura May and Amy Vanz. We had a great time seeing how these students have grown throughout the program! Last night, I had the privilege of celebrating some incredible Central Florida leaders at Junior Achievement of Central Florida’s 47th Annual Hall of Fame. Congratulations to all the awardees—your dedication to our Central Florida community is truly inspiring! As a member of the JACF Leadership Council, a passionate group of emerging professionals, I’m grateful for the opportunity to support JA’s mission of preparing future generations to enter a global workforce and economy. By volunteering in classrooms and helping empower students with the skills they need to succeed, we’re investing in the leaders of tomorrow. Here’s to fostering the next generation of achievers!

Member Spotlight: Corey Shirley Real Estate Professional | Southwestern Real Estate ? As a Florida native and real estate professional, I’m dedicated to helping clients across Orlando and Central Florida navigate their real estate journeys with ease. Being part of the Junior Achievement Leadership Council (JALC) is especially meaningful, as I was once a JA student myself. I’m grateful to now contribute from the other side, helping to empower the next generation while connecting with inspiring leaders. Meet Zach Dagneau, member of The Junior Achievement Leadership Council. Zach has been with KI for eight years after joining the team straight out of college at their headquarters in Green Bay, WI. He now oversees Central Florida collaborating with clients to help spark inspiration for their learning and work environments. Zach has volunteered as a Business Coach for JA’s 3DE students at Ocoee High School. He also plays a vital role in connecting with young professionals in the community to engage them as new members of the Leadership Council: “Being involved in the JALC has been a very rewarding experience. Outside of the fulfillment earned through supporting JA’s mission and initiatives, it is great to be surrounded by a group of diverse individuals with like-minded goals. As a young professional, it’s exciting to know I have found an organization that has helped me build both my personal and professional brand.”
