Every organization wants to be more data-driven, but #adops teams are often limited by data activation and other operational challenges. This afternoon our Chief Product Officer Eric Mayhew took the stage at #POSSIBLE2024 with Taren King, Senior Product Manager of Ad Tech at Intuit to highlight the growing role of automation in helping teams radically improve their ability to deliver data-powered advertising at scale. Some key insights we heard from the group: ? Observability will always play a key role in any automation strategy. Successful advertisers don’t “set it and forget it”. ? Small batch testing is a proven best practice. Once you see results with a small test, use automation to scale it out across a wider subset of campaigns. ? The most successful automation approaches empower customer success and account strategy teams by reducing manual data entry and accelerating speed to market and speed to optimization. ? Automation and first-party data activation requires cross-functional alignment across the C-suite.
